This is a running and driving 1929 Model A. We took this car in on trade over 10 years ago. We've used it in numerous Santa Claus Parades, Orono Fair Parades, maintained it and always stored it indoors. It is now time for someone else to enjoy it.
It was a movie car, most recently used in the movie "Amelia" with Richard Gere and Hilary Swank. It was a police car in this movie.
The paint and body work is not perfect by any means, but it is a good solid car! The interior and tires were replaced before we acquired the car. The hand crank comes with the car as well as a service manual I bought for the car. Parts are still in production and readily available for this car.
I would love to keep it forever but do not have the storage or the time to enjoy it anymore.
The odometer does not work. I have no idea when it quit, it's older than me.
I am selling it "as-is" since I don't have a mechanic that knows what the safety requirements are for this model year. OMVIC says that when a dealer is selling a car "as-is" it must state that the car is not roadworthy, not fit for the road.
Financing is unavailable for this car.
Carfax is unavailable for this car as it was built in 1929.
